I know that’s a huge list of food. That is what they have on rotation during lunch and dinner and their five locations. Obviously each day won’t feature everything but I’ll have you know that there is a good deal of it there. Odds are if you see something listed you’ll either find it or something similar to it, that is why I’ve listed everything they have at times. During lunch the Hibachi Grill, Crepes Grill, Crab Legs, Cocktail Shrimp, and “Premium” fish are not served.

Because of the extensive selection and all the menu items it is very hard to give a good rundown of this place. I’ll do my best as far as explaining what I like. The thing really is that every item is fresh and mostly cooked properly. I would say that for the most part if I did not enjoy the item it was do more to personal taste and flavors rather than poor quality, keep that in mind.

They food is laid out in a massive W. The first area has all of the sushi. Again, it was difficult to recall all of the various types I had but they were all very good. I enjoyed the  California Roll (Crab, Avocado, & Cucumber), Dragon Roll (Cream Cheese, Carrot, Cucumber, Avocado, Unagi), Dynamite Roll (Salmon, Tuna, Crab, Avocado, Cucumber, & Yamagobo),  Las Vegas Roll (Unagi, Cream Cheese, Salmon, Avocado, Masago),  Philadelphia Roll (Salmon, Cream Cheese, & Avocado),  Tempura & Shrimp Roll, Kani (Crab Meat), Maguro (Tuna), Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, and Tempura Hand Roll. All of the sushi was extremely fresh and extremely delicious. Some of the rolls have different types of sauces, like a spicy mayo, ginger sauce, hot tartar sauce, etc. You can also get extra of all their sauces for dipping if you’d like.

After the sushi is all of the various cold items and salads. This is an extensive area. The items from here that I enjoyed most were Asian Chicken Salad, Asian Coleslaw,  Baby Bokchoy with Mushroom, Broccoli & Baby Corn Salad, Crab Louie, Dashikombu Seaweed Salad, Edamame, Hijiki with Shitake Mushrooms, Japanese Eggplant and Octopus Salad. I ate during lunch for the more premium items like the Snow Crab Legs were not available. Again, everything was very fresh. There was not really a bad item of the bunch. The best thing about this buffet is that you can really trust that seafood items are going to be good and that you don’t have to worry about the quality.

After the cold section is the hot entrees. There were two soups (miso and hot & sour) but I did not they them. There was also vegetable and shrimp tempura which was delicious. Of the hot dishes I enjoyed the Beef Teriyaki (cooked medium), Chicken Teriyaki, Deep Fried Fluke, Fried Rice, Grilled Seafood Cake, Grilled Shrimp on Skewer, Japanese BBQ Chicken, Japanese Pork BBQ, Pork Gyoza Dumplings and Lo-mein. There were a couple items here like the grilled salmon and the skewered chicken that were pretty dry. Other than that the items were good with the beef, fried rice, lo-mein, Japanese pork BBQ and grilled shrimp were exceptional. After the hot entree section is a Udon bar were a chef will mix together what you’d like. I did not try the Udon bar.

The desserts are probably the only place this restaurant falls short. The soft serve green tea and vanilla ice cream is very good. The good items were the Almond Cookie, Blueberry Cake, Butter Walnut Cookie, Green Tea Cake and Strawberry Yogurt. There was no cheesecakes or crepes for lunch. The remaining items they had were very light and somewhat tasteless.

Another good thing about this place is that the portions for items are small so it is easy to sample a large variety. I enjoy this as there is not a lot of waste. There were a few times when items were out as it was very busy but they refilled them within 5 minutes.

The restaurant is extremely clean as are the restrooms, all the surfaces and the buffet stations. The plates and utensils are always stocked and clean. The servers do a fantastic job of clearing empty plates and refilling beverages. You certainly get what you pay for. This buffet is expensive but trust that the food will be top quality and you will not leave hungry or disappointed.
